There are many organizations and community resources available to support gainful employment of people with disabilities.

Employment-related Personal Assistance Services (EPAS) opens in a new tab is a Medicaid service for people with disabilities who work and need personal assistance in order to remain employed.
SCORE opens in a new tab is a network of volunteer, expert business mentors that can help and support a person to start their own small business.
Utah Independent Living Centers (ILCs) opens in a new tab assist people with disabilities to achieve greater independence by providing services and activities which enhance independent living skills and promote the public’s understanding, accommodation, and acceptance of their rights, needs and abilities.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) opens in a new tab

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Pre-Employment Transition Services (ETS) or "Pre-ETS" opens in a new tab help students with disabilities in exploring and planning for successful future employment through targeted training.
Utah School to Work Initiative opens in a new tab ensures that transition age youth (ages 14-22) with intellectual or developmental disabilities (including those with the most significant disabilities) are engaged in competitive, integrated employment regardless of where they live in the state.

Employment Preparation Services (EPR) is a DSPD service that provides individualized learning and work experience (including volunteer work). It supports persons to develop general strengths and skills through training by the service provider. The goal is to prepare people for Competitive Integrated Employment. Competitive integrated employment (CIE) means that individuals with disabilities work in the community with people of all abilities, and that they are paid at a rate comparable to those people without disabilities who work in the same place.
