Long-Term Services and Supports Research Study
Utah LTSS research study
The Utah Long-Term Services and Supports Research Study is a two-year project ending in December 2025 that is funded by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and that is being conducted by the Human Services Research Institute with support from Burns and Associates and the Utah State University Institute for Disability Research, Policy, and Practice.
(N.B. - The Utah Department of Health and Human Services may occasionally link to outside sources of information. DHHS and the state of Utah do not necessarily endorse the provider of the content and are not responsible for any content published on the external site or incorporated by reference).
The purpose of the study is to learn from people with disabilities and older adults who receive long-term services and supports, people waiting for services, family members, service providers, case managers, advocates, and other community members about what is going well and what isn’t going well in the service system. The Human Services Research Institute and partners will use this feedback to recommend how DHHS may improve the overall aging and disability service system.
